Duck Hunt

Community Rating:
+1 (Advantage)

Professional Rating:
+0.5 (Slight Advantage)

Neutral

Against duck hunt, MJump and MSpeed have most practical use. You can easily infiltrate his defenses with Jump as his projectiles don't go very high, unless he hits the can upwards (which takes a lot of preparation). Speed finds more use on stages with heavy platforms, where you can come at him from all sort of heights. You can easily bat way the can with one of your aerials, eliminating most of its pressure.

Duck Hunt (91)-

  • Down Throw (C)
    • DI up & away, maybe mix up with down & away.
  • Forward Throw (C)
    • For this one DI away to avoid the most common follow ups, dash attack and short hop fair. Even close to the edge this still sometimes works so be careful of that.
  • Forward Throw (K)
    • Kills at about 185% from the edge of the stage.
  • Up Throw (K)
    • Kills at about 205% (DI forward is slightly better than DI back)
